Directional Gyro, RAF Mk IA, Ref 6A/1298, Mosquito, Lancaster B-50This is an interesting WWII era Directional Gyro, labeled for the British RAF as Gyro Mk IA, Stores Reference number 6A 1298, with a year of manufacture of 1945, and the late war Air Ministry upward arrow symbol on its data label. The Directional Gyro Mk IA 6A 1298 was used in RAF aircraft such as the Avro Lancaster Bomber and the Mosquito. It is in good condition given its age.
