Chardonnay DOP FranceAnd not to say that this is a sweet wine; it is bone dry yet wonderfully aromatic and soft with a really long finish. The production is once again very meticulous, including temperature controlled fermentation in French oak and 3 month ageing with battonage on fine lees.

An expressive and full flavoured Rose wine

On the nose it is very intense and presents a mix of ripe fruit jam

Wild red cherry

plush tannins counterbalanced by the crisp thread of acidity

yellow peach and cedar wood

emerging from deep licorellas

After destemming

along with light rains in late August created a unique climate

This Rivesaltes is aged for nineteen years on old wine lees

vinified and aged in barrels outdoors

It is named for the 100 year old rural school (Escuela) located on the property
