Less sweet and smooth than the vintage wine but very powerful

This is a wine of contrasts as the mid-palate is rich to the point of opulence

with strong notes of honeysuckle

The nicely vibrant medium weight flavors possess a sleek mouthfeel and reasonably good concentration before culminating in a noticeably warm if delicious finish. Not surprisingly, this will need a few years to develop better depth but its not so structured as to be unapproachable young.
