The spatula is impressed on the handle Stainless steel and marked on the nylon Made in China

aside from this the platter is still in good usable vintage condition

In 1913 King George V and Queen Mary visited the firm and it received a Royal licence and became Royal Vale. In 1937 the firm of Thomas Morris and the Osborne China Co. joined that of H. J. Colclough and it became Colclough China Ltd, which was acquired by Booths Ltd in 1944. In 1953 the Lawley Group (owners of Ridgway and Adderley Co) acquired the firm
