The only downside was a high silhouette, but the Sherman made up for this with its reliability, ruggedness and numbers. Its 75mm gun was excellent at providing fire support but struggled to penetrate German heavy tanks like the Tiger, so troops were bolstered with a Sherman Vc Firefly with its powerful 17 pounder anti tank gun. This set
