The item is a hammered metal pewter hot water pot with a hinged lid and black Bakelite finial. The item has a scroll handle with wrapped wicker and has been designed with the base tapering towards the rim. The pot is impressed underneath Craftsman Sheffield Pewter. It seems some of the wicker at the handle top has been broken off, but the rest of the wicker is still
