Butterfly 2024 Stencil Art on Elm, limited edition artwork - 14 x 18cm orange As it was Stencil ShedsI didnt have to go far for inspiration for this years Spring artwork. I wanted to paint something new that represented the new season and I managed to catch this small Tortoiseshell Butterfly fluttering around the studio on video. The warm air from the wood burner and a sunny morning had caused an end to winter hibernation! You can see the butterfly and making process in my short film.
