Michal Golan Jewelry Style:Bluebell Hamsa Necklace and how they (and we)About Michal Golan Jewelry Michal was born in Haifa, Israel and came to the US in her twenties to study art. She began designing jewelry and selling it at craft fairs in order to support herself while completing a Masters degree in Studio Art at NYU. Demand for her jewelry quickly grew and in 1982 she launched Michal Golan Jewelry. Michals husband, Michael, joined her and they soon moved the company out of their apartment and into a studio in Hells
