Ponte Vecchio-Morning-Florence by Ernest D Roth, Amer., (1876-1964) Featured trace of inky fingerprint lowerEtching, 1907, 8 15 16 x 10, light toning within mat opening, signed, titled and dated 1912 in pencil, with 36 in pencil added to lower right corner, on thin, smooth cream wove simili japan paper with a partial foliate watermark. A strikingly strong composition by Roth with strong well balanced contrasts of dark and light.
